Urban Elegance: Townhome Hardscape Transformation

Living in a town home often comes with the challenge of limited backyard space, and this was no exception for our client in Madison, Alabama. The goal for this project was to maximize the available space, creating an inviting backyard retreat where the homeowner could relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Using our design software, we collaborated closely with the client to perfect the vision before breaking ground. The centerpiece of this transformation is a custom three-piece paver patio, accented with a sleek black paver border for added definition. Two seating walls, made with durable retaining wall blocks, frame the space and provide additional seating. To add a refined touch, we used bull-nosed pool coping for the wall caps, complemented by a black accent strip within the walls, tying the design together.

Once the hardscaping was complete, we enhanced the area with a thoughtfully arranged flower bed, surrounding the patio to add color and life to the space. The result is a beautifully functional backyard of a typical town home lot, offering the homeowner a perfect spot to unwind.
