The Browns Outdoor Project

This project took place in Madison, Alabama, where the Browns faced challenges maintaining a healthy lawn due to the shade from large trees and the position of their home. To solve this issue and provide additional outdoor living space, we worked closely with the Browns to design a patio tailored to their needs.

The final design features a classic grey 4x8 paver, beautifully accented with a 6x9 graphite border paver for a polished look. Because of the natural slope of the yard, we constructed a retaining wall to ensure proper drainage and achieve the necessary grade for water flow. This wall eliminated the need to bring in additional soil to support the gravel base beneath the paver patio.

To complete the transformation, we added a seating wall and a custom fireplace, creating a functional and inviting space for relaxation and gatherings. The result is a stunning backyard that solves the Browns' landscaping challenges while enhancing their outdoor living experience.
